ATTITUDE Clinic is a medical institution in Seoul, Korea, and this policy is written under Korean law. We protect your personal data
in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea and related legislation,
and we set out the following policy so that any concern is handled promptly.

1. What we collect and why

Consultation and booking requests

Name, contact details, area of interest, your message, preferred contact method — to respond to your enquiry, arrange a booking, and confirm your identity

Clinical care

Korean national health insurance benefit information (applies only to those enrolled in Korean health insurance) and medical records — to provide care and to create and retain records as required by the Korean Medical Service Act

Collected automatically

IP address, cookies, visit time, usage logs — for usage statistics and to improve the site

2. How long we keep it

Consultation and booking data

Deleted without delay once the enquiry is resolved (maximum one year)

Medical records

The retention period set by Article 22 of the Korean Medical Service Act and Article 15 of its Enforcement Rule

Retention required by law

The period set by relevant Korean legislation (the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Protection of Communications Secrets Act, and others)

3. Sharing with third parties

Rule

We do not share your data with third parties without your consent.

Exception

Where the law specifically provides otherwise, or where it is necessary to protect the life, safety or property of you or another person in an urgent situation

4. Processing carried out by others

Processor

To be listed once confirmed after opening (for example website operation, booking system, message notifications)

Scope

Limited to that work only, with data protection terms set out in the processing agreement.

5. Your rights and how to use them

Rights

You may request access, correction or deletion, suspension of processing, or withdrawal of consent.

How

Contact the data protection officer in writing, by phone or by email, and we will act without delay.

Legal guardian

Under Korean law, personal data of children under 14 is processed with the consent of a legal guardian.

6. Deletion and disposal

Process

Data is deleted without delay once the retention period ends or the purpose is met.

How

Electronic files are erased so they cannot be recovered; paper records are shredded or incinerated.

7. How we keep data safe

Organisational

An internal management plan is established and followed; access is limited to as few staff as possible, who are trained

Technical

Access rights are managed, access control systems are in place, and traffic is encrypted (HTTPS)

Physical

Entry to the server room and records room is controlled
