Sculptra
A volume treatment that builds through collagen over months

Sculptra uses PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid) to help the skin make its own collagen. It is considered when broad areas such as hollow cheeks, temples or the area around the nasolabial folds lack volume, and the change appears gradually over several months.

What it is
What is Sculptra?
Sculptra is a PLLA injectable from Galderma. Unlike filler, which adds volume immediately, it works as collagen increases over time, aiming for a natural, gradual fullness.
It is priced per vial, and the amount and number of sessions depend on the size of the area and how hollow it is.
How it works
How it works

PLLA particles spread evenly under the skin stimulate the surrounding tissue so collagen forms gradually. The particles are absorbed over time and the new collagen supports volume and firmness, which is why it is planned in several sessions rather than all at once.

The process
How a visit works
Consultation & AI skin analysis
An AI skin analysis records where your skin is today; one of our co-directors then examines you and decides whether to treat, how strongly and where.
Preparation
Hollow areas and proportions are checked and numbing cream is applied.
Treatment
The diluted product is distributed evenly at the planned layer.
After your visit
The area is smoothed, and you go home with instructions for massage at home.
Aftercare
Recovery & aftercare
- Swelling and small bruises usually settle within a few days, after which you may look much as before for a while.
- Massage gently for a few days as instructed.
- A palpable lump is occasional — tell us if it lingers.
Sessions & spacing
Usually two to three sessions four to six weeks apart, with the change judged over several months.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
When will I see results from Sculptra?
The initial swelling goes down within days, and collagen change appears over weeks to months.
Why is it done in several sessions?
Adding a little at a time while watching the collagen response gives a natural result and reduces the risk of nodules.
How is it different from Juvelook?
Both support collagen, but the ingredients, particles and usual areas differ. We decide based on your concerns and areas after examination.
Do I really need to massage?
Yes — we advise massage for a period after treatment to help the product spread evenly.
