What it is

What is Radiesse?

Radiesse is a CaHA injectable from Merz. It is used to support contours such as the jawline or cheeks, or diluted and spread evenly over broader areas to improve firmness.

It is priced per vial, and dilution, areas and amount are set after examination. Unlike hyaluronic acid filler it cannot be dissolved with an enzyme, so the plan is made with extra care.

How it works

How it works

Fine CaHA particles in a gel create volume where placed and, over time, help collagen form around them. General guidance describes immediate volume lasting roughly six months to a year, though this varies by area and person.

The process

How a visit works

  1. Consultation & AI skin analysis

An AI skin analysis records where your skin is today; one of our co-directors then examines you and decides whether to treat, how strongly and where.

  2. Preparation

Contour and firmness are checked and numbing cream is applied.

  3. Treatment

A cannula or fine needle distributes the product at the planned layer.

  4. After your visit

The shape is checked and you go home after a cold compress.

Aftercare

Recovery & aftercare

  • Swelling and bruising usually settle within a few days to a week.
  • For one to two weeks, do not press or massage the area firmly.
  • If a lump can be felt or pain worsens, please let us know.

Sessions & spacing

Usually one session, with progress reviewed and any top-up decided a few months later.
